Community Practice Service Building

DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT:


NOTE:  The building will be open and available for an additional site visit on:

                              January 17, 2017 from 10:00am - 2:00pm


The work consists of a single (12) month phase in which the existing Poultry Virus building located at 107
Farrier Road, Ithaca, NY will be abated/demolished and a new wood framed stand-alone +/-12,000 SF Community Practice Service and Shelter Medicine facility constructed. This new facility will contain multiple offices, exam rooms, operating rooms, treatment room, wards, a waiting room, x-ray room and accessory spaces. The work also includes some minor renovations to the Large Animal Isolation Facility which is currently connected to the Poultry Virus building and will need to remain in use throughout the project. Construction includes but is not limited to gypsum and wood stud partitions, concrete masonry units, cement board siding, miscellaneous steel, interior glazing, electrical and lighting systems, HVAC system, plumbing systems, fire protection and emergency systems, AV infrastructure, communication systems, wood doors and metal frames, architectural millwork, architectural finishes, specialties and equipment, roofing, windows and storefronts.

PROJECT SCHEDULE:

Start:
Within five (5) calendar days after the Office of State Comptroller approves the contract and the Owner issues a written authorization to proceed. Current scheduled contract approval date is March 3, 2017.
Completion:
To be completed within three hundred sixty-five (365) calendar days from the contract approval date.
